WebI am trying to fight her without a mimic as I realized after 80 hours in how easy the mimic and nearly any summon makes the game. I beat SoC, ornstein and smough, nameless king, Friede, Gael all alone so I know I can definitely beat this alone as well. I just beat placidusax which was one of the coolest bosses I've ever fought. Webjochvent • 9 mo. ago. imo Malenia is definitely harder. Friede has no poise and is very easily backstabbed. Phase 1 is free, just fish backstabs whenever she goes invisible. Phase 2 is free, because both Friede and Ariandel are pretty passive. Phase 3 is kinda hard, yes. Won't downplay that but still easier than Malenia.
